A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility pur os� es

WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of ANAHEIM SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORAL
COUNTY CALIFORNIA successor in interest to LOARA SCHOOL DISTRICT OF
ORANGE COUNTY,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the North 4 feet of the South 34 feet
of the following described parcel of land:
The South 312.33 feet of the East half of the Northwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 16, Township
4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de
Santa Ana, being the South 312.33 feet of Lot 6, Helen
and Lynch 's Addition to Anaheim, as shown on a Map re-
corded in Book 442, page 158 of Deeds, records of Los
Angeles County, California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM a tract of 2 acres conveyed by George
Betz to Anaheim School District by deed recorded August
12, 1889 in Book 587, page 295 of Deeds, records of said
Los Angeles County, California.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
