63-0260RESOLUTION NO. b3R 260 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERPINING THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having fixed a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having duly held and conducted such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending denial of said proposed change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 2nd day of April 19 63 as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hear- ing upon said proposed change of zone or zones and did give notice there- of in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Muni- cipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the recommenda- tions of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or zones in which it is now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which it is now incorporated and that a change of zone should not be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: That portion of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 7, in Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, as shown on a map recorded in book 49, page 50, Record of Surveys, in the Office of the County Recorder of said Orange County, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the said Northwest quarter and running thence South 0 13' 45" Bast 928.01 feet to the Northwesterly corner of the land described in deed to the city of Anaheim recorded October 14, 1960 62 -63 -80 in Book 5463 page 528, Official Records; thence North 88 56 54 East 363.01 feet; thence North 66 31' 14" East 202.40 feet to a point in the Easterly line of the West 16.58 acres of said Northwest quarter, said point being South 00 23' 02" East 85.00 feet from the Southwest corner of Tract No. 2721, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 110, pages 13 and 14, Miscellaneous Maps records of said Orange County; thence North 0 23' 02" West 861 feet to the North line of said Northwest quarter; thence South 88 55' 15" West along the said North line 546.70 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the West 275.53 feet thereof. remain in R -A, RESIDENTIAL- AGRICULTURAL ZONE, in which it is now incorporated, and that the reclassification to R -3, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, be denied, as recommended by the City Planning Commission.
