The par?cular sec?onofthe California Public Records Act which Ibelieve tobeapplicable isGovernment Code Sec?on
6253, which states, in per?nent part:
b) Except with respect to public records exempt from disclosure byexpress provisions of law, each state or local agency,
upon arequest foracopy ofrecords that reasonably describes aniden?able record orrecords, shall make the records
promptly available toanyperson, upon payment offees covering direct costs ofduplica?on, orastatutory fee, if

applicable. Upon request, anexact copy shall beprovided unless imprac?cable todoso. Computer data shall beprovided
inaform determined bythe agency. California Government Code sec?on6253(b).
Under Sec?on6253 (c), you have tendays within which torespond tothis request. Ifyour agency chooses towithhold or
delay produc?onofrecords or informa?on, itmust jus?fysuch withholding byawri?ng, executed bythe head ofthe
