Anaheim Blvd., Suite 217, Anaheim, CA 92805; fax (714) 765-4105. You may also request aform be mailed toyou by contacting the Office ofthe City Clerk at (714) 765-5166. Please note that information contained inarequest isapublic record and may be subject topublic inspection pursuant tothe California Public Records Act. 2.Ifyour request istoinspect rather than receive copies, theresponsive Department will make an appointment for areasonable future date/time for such records. This isnecessary toallow time to gather and review documents for compliance with the provisions ofthe California Public Records Act. 3.Requests (inspection and/orcopies) must befor records inthe possession of, prepared, owned, used, or retained by the City ofAnaheim \[Gov. Code §7920.530)\] and must be for clearly identifiable records. City staff is available to assist you in identifying those records in the Department/City’s possession. The City is not required by law tocreate arecord orlist from an existing record. Copies will notbe provided ifdisclosure isexempt inaccordance with State law. 4.The City will make every effort toprovide the documents inareasonable time. You will be notified within ten (10) days from the date ofyour request: Whether the City hasrecords responsive to your request Whether the City has records responsive toyour request, but which are exempt from disclosure and the reasons forexemption Whether the City requires an extension oftime todetermine whether ithas records responsive toyour request 5.Copy charges are enumerated on the City Clerk’sFee Schedule asadopted by the City Council. The standard charge for copies ofany specifically described and identified public records notexempt from disclosure is $0.15per page. Color copies are $0.20 per page. Records copied toCD orflash drive are $10.00 per CDorflash drive. Records stored by theCity inelectronic format will be provided in the same electronic format when requested byany person. The City isnotrequired to produce records inan electronic format when the requested records are not available inelectronic format atthe time ofthe request. Mailing charges will apply, if necessary. Fee schedules are approved by City Council and are available upon request. 6.The Office of the City Clerk will provide an invoice for charges due. These charges are due and payable upon receipt ofthe invoice. Upon remittance oftheinvoice amount, therecords request will be copied and sent tothe requestor.
