A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public
utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of TITLE INSURANCE AND TRUST
COMPANY, a corporation organized under the laws of the state of
California,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for public
utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for public utility purposes over, under
and across the westerly 10 feet of that parcel of
land described as follows:
That portion of the west half of the west half of
the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of
Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the
Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a map recorded in
book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California, lying northerly of a line
bearing South 89 31' 45" East from a point on the
west line of said Section 12, North 0 12' 15" West
765.00 feet from the southwest corner of said
Section 12.
EXCEPT the southerly 125 feet of the easterly 105
feet thereof.
ALSO EXCEPT that portion thereof lying northerly
of the following described line: Beginning at a
point on the west line of said Section, southerly
97.25 feet from the northwest corner of said west
half; thence easterly in a direct line to the
point on the east line of said west half, South 97.25
feet from the northeast corner of said west half.
ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom that portion thereof
described in the deed to the state of California,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 26th d of March 19 63
