A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES, INCLUDING
A SANIT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municip;:1 purposes, to wit: An easement for public
utility purposes, inc a sanitary sewer easement
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of RAE OAKES, a widow.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for public
utility purposes, including a sanitary sewer easement
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for public utility purposes including a
sanitary sewer easement over, under and across a strip
of land 15.00 feet in width lying within a portion of
the Rancho Canon de Santa Ana, City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, the Northerly line of
said 15.00 foot strip being described as follows:
Conauencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 3 of the
J. D. Taylor Tract, said tract recorded in Book 36,
pages 58, 59 and 60 of Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California; thence North 16° 48' 50"
West along the West line of said Lot 3 and its Norther-
ly prolongation thereof, a distance of 649.72 feet to
the true point of beginning; said point being in the
South toe of the dike of the Santa Ana River; thence
North 77 02' 17" East 152.57 feet; thence North 71° 24'
47" East 202.73 feet; thence North 63° 30' 52" East
199.97 feet to the intersection with the Northerly
prolongation of the Easterly line of Lot 3 of said
J. D. Taylor Tract.
The South line of said easement being shortened or
lengthened as the case may be to coincide with the
Northerly prolongation of the East and West lines of
said Lot 3.
The North line of said easement being the South toe of
the dike of the Santa Ana River;

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
