63-0209WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of Public
Works, Division of Highways, owner of the hereinafter described
real property, did heretofore offer to sell the same to the City
of Anaheim for the sum of $74,350.00 cash, lawful money of the
United States; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did on .ugust 28, 1962, adopt
aesolution No. 62R-786, finding and determining that public con-
venience and necessity required the purchase of said real prop-
erty and that the price which the owner thereof was willing to
accept was reasonable and not out of proportion to the fair market
value of said property; and
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of Public
Works, has submitted to the City of Anaheim a Director's Deed con-
veyin said property to the City of Anaheim, said Deed to be
recorded at such time as the City is in position to forward the
amount of $74,350.00 to the State of California, Department of
Public Works, in payment for said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Director's Deed conveying the follow-
ing described property, situated partly in the City of Anaheim and
partly in the City of Fullerton, County of Orange, State of
California, to wit:
Those portions of Lots 2, 3 and 6 of Miles Rancho as
shown on map recorded in Book 4, page 7 of Miscel-
laneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of
said County, described as follows:
Beginnin at the Southerly corner of said. Lot 2; thence
North 50 30' 32" East along the Southeasterly line of
said Lot 2 a distance of 580.21 feet to an angle point
in the Southerly line of said Lot 2; thence, South 89
33' 18" East along the Southerly lines of said Lots 2
and 3 a distance of 796.94 feet; thence South 0 26'
42" West to a line that is parallel with said Southerly
line and distant Southerly therefrom, measured at right
angles, 67.00 feet; thence, Easterly along said parallel
line, South 89 33' 18" East, to a point distant
Westerly thereon 42.69 feet from the Easterly line of
said Lot 6, said Easterly line being the center line of
Harbor Boulevard shown as Spadra Road on Tract No. 2302
recorded in Book 76, pages 29 to 31 inclusive of said
Miscellaneous Maps of said County; thence, North 15
08' 22" West a distance of 68.47 feet; thence, North
89 29' 49" West a distance of 73.16 feet; thence,
North 79 19' 02" West a distance of 274.47 feet; thence,
North 76 13' 30" West a distance of 813.11 feet; thence,
North 78 01' 52" West a distance of 296.88 feet to a
point in the Westerly line of said Lot 2, distant
Northerly along said Westerly line 668.02 feet from said
Southerly corner; thence, Southerly along said Westerly
line to the point of beginning.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
CF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A DI2.ECTCI‘'S GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.

EXCEPTING and RESERVING unto the State of California
any and all rights of ingress to or egress from the
land herein conveyed over and across the Northerly
and Easterly lines thereof.
It is the purpose of the foregoing exception and re-
servation to provide that no easement of access shall
attach or be appurtenant to the property hereby con-
veyed, by reason of the fact that the same abuts upon
public ways and upon a State highway, with access only
to the State highway being restricted.
ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom all minerals, oils, gases and
other hydrocarbons by whatsoever name known that may
be within or under the parcel of land hereinabove des-
cribed without, however, the right to drill, dig or
mine through the surface thereof.
