63-0183WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and Pacific Electric Rail-
way Company did enter into an agreement dated January 30, 1963
with reference to the structural changes and additions which
would be necessitated by the improvement of Knott Avenue and its
crossing with Pacific Electric Railway Company's Santa Ana Line
Crossing No. 6N- 23.48; and
WHEREAS, the scope of said agreement dated January 30,
1963 also included the installation of four No. 8 flashing
light signals subsequent to the removal of the existing No. 3
Wigwag Signal, as indicated in Paragraph (3) of Subsection (d)
of Section 1 of said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that a clerical or
typographical error was made in the preparation of said agreement,
in that Subsections (e) and (f) of Section 3 thereof read "two"
No. 8 flashing light signals rather than "four" No. 8 flashing
light signals; and
WHEREAS, Pacific Electric Railway Company has submitted
a Supplemental Agreement to the City to be made and entered into
by the City of Anaheim and Pacific Electric Railway Company,
effective as of January 30, 1963, amending Section 3, Sub-
sections (e) and (f) of said agreement dated January 30 1963
to read "four" No. 8 flashing light signals instead of 'two
as indicated in said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that said Supple-
mental Agreement should be approved and accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Supplemental Agreement submitted
to the City by Pacific Electric Railway Company to be made and
entered into by and between the City of Anaheim and said Rail-
way Company, amending that certain agreement dated January 30,
1963 pertaining to the improvement of Knott Avenue Crossing
No. 6N- 23.48, in the manner hereinabove described, effective
as of January 30, 1963, be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to execute said Supplemental
Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
