63-0629RESOLUTION NO. 63R- 629 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR EASEMENTS FOR PUBLIC UTILITY AND TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: Easementsfor public utility and temporary construction purposes; and WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of CHARLES J. BIDDLE and FREDA W. BIDDLE, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for easements for public utility and temporary construc- tion purposes, and more particularly described as follows: PARCEL ONE: An easement for public utility purposes including a sanitary sewer easement over, under and across a strip of land 15.00 feet in width lying within a portion of the Leandro Serrano Allotment of the Rancho Sanitago de Santa Ana, and a portion of Lot One (1) of the J. D. Taylor Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, page 16 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, the North line of said 15.00 foot strip being described as follows: Beginning at a point in the East line of Lot One (1) of said J.D. Taylor Tract, said point being South 29 45' 20" West 15.13 feet from the Northeast corner of said Lot One (1), said point also being in the South toe of the dike of the Santa Ana River; thence South 52 12' 30" West along said toe of the dike a distance of 154.22 feet to an angle point therein; thence South 65 45' 10" West 681.26 feet, more or less, to the Northerly prolongation of the West line of Lot Two (2) of said J. D. Taylor Tract. The South line of said 15.00 or shortened as the case may line of said Lot One (1) and the West line of Lot Two (2) -1- foot easement to be lengthened be, to coincide with the East the Northerly prolongation of of the J. D. Taylor Tract. PARCEL TWO: A temporary construction easement over and across a strip of land 10.00 feet in width, the Northerly line of said 10.00 foot strip being the Southerly line of the above described Parcel One (1). be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
