A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR EASEMENTS FOR PUBLIC UTILITY AND
TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION P RPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit Easements for public utility and temporary

WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of GREAT S TERN LAND CO a

corporation organized under the laws of the State of California,
to sell to the Ci y of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for easements for public utility and temporary
construction purposes
and more particularly described as followso
PARCEL ONE:
An easement for public utility purposes including a sanitary
sewer easement over, under and across that portion of the
Jonathan Watson Tract, as per Map filed in Book 2, page 262 of
Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of Orange
County, California, described as follows:
A strip of land 6.00 feet in width, the Westerly line of said
strip being described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of that parcel of land des-
cribed as Parcel Two (2) in deed to the Great Western Land Co.,
a corporation, recorded December 28, 1962 in Book 6376, pages
187 to 190, inclusive, of Official Records of said Orange County;
thence South 29 45' 20" East a distance of 137.35 feet.
PARCEL TWO:
A temporary construction easement over and across a strip of
land 10.00 feet in width, the Westerly line of said strip
being the Easterly line of the above described Parcel One.
Said temporary easement to expire on or before December 31, 1963.

of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 24th day of July 1963.
