A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN ELECTRIC SERVICE
AGREEMENT WITH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON
COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the Public Utilities Commission of the
State of California by its Decision No. 65346, dated May 13,
1963, suspended certain rate schedules of the Southern
California Edison Company; and
WHEREAS, the Southern California Edison Company has
made revisions to the schedules and associate contract forms
and has filed an Advice Letter with the Commission submitting
the revised tariffs; and
WHEREAS, said tariffs, being less than the applicable
tariffs heretofore in effect, inure to the benefit of the City
of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to execute an Electric Service Agreement with Southern
California Edison Company reflecting such revision of rate
schedules.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute an Electric
Service Agreement with Southern California Edison Company.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the form of contract
submitted to the City Attorney's Office by the Southern
California Edison Company in its letter dated July 19, 1963,
be and the same is hereby approved as to form.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 23rd day of July, 1963.
