A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO, X79
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from
DAVID S. COLLINS owner
o cer ain rea property s ua ed n t e ity oeim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot No. 51 in Tract No. 1620 as shown on a
map recorded in Book No. 58, Page 31 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
June 10 19 63, notice of which said public hearing
was duly given as requir by law and the provisions. of Title 18,
Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due
inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its
behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No, 791 Series
1 9 62 9 denying Variance No. 1579 and
WHEREAS, therafter, within twenty-two .(22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal
was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting
the action of the City Planning Commission denying said
variance, and said appeal was set for public hearing on
July 16 19 63 at 7:00 o P.M. at the cit
Hall in the City of Ana e m, and notice of such public hearing
was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18,
Chapter 18,76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by
itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the
evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the City Council
does find and determine that:
1. There is no substantial property right_possessed
by other property in the same vicinity and zone
and denied the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be
adequately developed and used under the present
zone,
NOW, THERErORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission

denying Variance No. 1579 be and the same is hereby sustained,
and that the petition of David S. Collins for a variance
permitting the expansion of existing business and professional
offices on the property hereinbefore described, be, and the same
is hereby denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 16th day of July 19 63
