63-0599WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore made
application to the Orange County Flood Control District for
a permit to construct pavement, curb and gutter, drive
approaches and to relocate an existing drainage inlet within
said District's right of way of the Carbon Creek Channel at
Knott Avenue; and
WHEREAS, plans for the above- mentioned improvement
designated "Street Improvement Knott Avenue, Plan No. 5504"
have been filed with and approved by said District's Engineer;
and
WHEREAS, Orange County Flood Control District has
submitted to the City Council a form of permit to be accepted
by the City of Anaheim offering to grant to the City permission
to construct pavement, curb and gutter, drive approaches and
to relocate an existing drainage inlet within said District's
right of way of the Carbon Creek Channel at Knott Avenue in
accordance with City of Anaheim Plan No. 5504, and subject to
the terms, covenants, conditions and agreements therein set
forth to be kept, performed and observed by the City, which
permit the City Council finds would be for the benefit and best
interest of the City and should be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the permit of the Orange County Flood
Control District No. 12063, submitted to the City of Anaheim,
granting to the City permission to construct pavement, curb and
gutter, drive approaches and to relocate an existing drainage
inlet within said District's right of way of the Carbon Creek
Channel at Knott Avenue in accordance with City of Anaheim Plan
No. 5504, and subject to the terms, covenants, conditions and
agreements set forth in said permit to be performed and observed
by the City of Anaheim, be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to accept said permit
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 16th day of July, 1963.
