RESOLUTION NO. 63R -581
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha ve offered
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
of Anaheim that the offer of MINNA A. SMITH and
JOHNSON.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
rnihl tr utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Southerly 60 feet of
that portion of the Southwest quarter of the South-
west quarter of Fractional Section 24, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, as shown on a sectionalized
survey map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia, being a portion of the Rancho San Juan
Cajon de Santa Ana,lying Westerly of the East line
of said Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
