CONKLIN owners of certain real property situated in the. City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as fo l lows PARCEL 1: Beginning at a point in the center line of North Los Angeles Street 492 feet Northerly from a cement monument at the inter- section of the center line of said North Los Angeles Street and the Southerly line of Lot 42 of "Anaheim Extension," as shown on a Map made by Wm. Hamel and filed in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California; thence West 224.75 feet parallel to the Southerly line of said Lot 42; thence Southerly 100 feet parallel to the center line of North Los Angeles Street; thence Easterly, parallel to the Southerly line of said Lot 42, 224.75 feet to the center line of North Los Angeles Street; thence Northerly along said center line 100 feet to the place of beginning. PARCEL 2: That portion of Lot 42 of "Anaheim Extension" according to a map thereof made by William Hamel and acknowledged by Alfred Robinson, December 11, 1868 and filed in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at a point 392 feet Northerly measured along the monumental center line of North Los Angeles Street from its intersection with the monumental center line of West North Street, said intersection being the southeast corner of said Lot 42 of Anaheim Extension; thence West on a line parallel with the said monumental line of West North Street and 392 feet distant there- from, 34.75 feet to the true point of beginning; thence contin- uing Westerly on a line parallel with the said monumental center line of said West North Street and 392 feet distant therefrom, 250 feet; thence Southerly on a line parallel with the said monumental center line of North Los Angeles Street, 20 feet; thence Easterly and parallel with the said monumental center line of West North Street, 250 feet; thence Northerly on a line parallel with the said monumental center line of said North Los Angeles Street, 20 feet to the true point of beginning. inspects behalf, offered 19 62 -63 subj ect RESOLUTION NO, 63R 550 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 1572 AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said petition on Ma 13 1963 notice of which said public hearing was duly given ass r°equiired by law and the previ- sions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due on, investigation and studies made by itself and in its and after due consideration of all evidence and reports at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No. 755 Series recommending that Variance No. 1572 be grant a to certain conditions therein set forth ;and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty -two (22) days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the action of the City Planning Commission granting_ said variance, and said appeal was set for public hearing on June 25 19 63 at 7 00 o clock P.M. at the City a n e i y o AnaheiTm, and notice.of such public hearing eras duly iven as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find and determine that 10_ There are exceptional or extraordinary circum- stances or conditions applicable to the property involved or to the intended use of the property that do not apply generally to the property or class of use in the same vicinity and zone, 2. That such a variance is necessary for the preserva- tion and enjoyment of a substantial property right possessed by other property in the.same vicinity and zone and denied to the property in question. That the granting Of such variance w i l l not be materially detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the property or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is located. 4. That the granting of such variance will not adversely affect the comprehensive general zoning plan. NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that a conditional zoning variance be, and the same is hereby granted permitting parking on the R -2, Two- Family Resi- dential Zone portion of the property hereinbefore described, per- mitting a waiver of the Anaheim Municipal Code minimum parking requirements, and permitting the expansion of the existing printing plant located on the C -2, General Commercial Zone portion of the property hereinbefore described, subject to the following conditions: 1. That the owners of subject property shall deed to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 40 feet in width, from the center line of the street, along Los Angeles Street for street widening purposes. 2. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as deter- mined and required by the Street Maintenance and Sanitation Division of the Public Works Department, which areas shall be enclosed by a solid fence or wall prior to final building inspection. 3. That the owners of subject property shall deed to the City of Anaheim a 6 -foot public utility ease- ment and a 2 -foot overhang easement on each side of said 6 -foot easement, the center line of which shall be the southerly extension of the east line of the existing alley to the north. AT T: The City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke such variance permit for good cause or failure of said owner S their heirs, successors or assigns, to comply with the Anaheim Municipal Code and regulations and the conditions herein. Said variance is granted for the term prescribed by the Anaheim Municipal Code unless otherwise specified herein. (SEAL) 4. That subject property shall be developed substan- tially in accordance with plans on file with the City of Anaheim, marked "Exhibits Nos. 1 and 2." 5. That Conditions Nos. 1 and 3 above- mentioned shall be complied with within a period of 180 days from date hereof, or such further time as the City Council may grant.
