A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
62R -888 IN RECLASSIFICATION PROCEEDINGS
NO. 62- 63 -24, BY DELETING THEREFROM
CONDITION NO. 7.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
heretofore, to wit, on October 9, 1962 adopt Resolution No.
62R -888 in Reclassification Proceedings No. 62 -63 -24 finding
and determining that the property and area therein described
should be excluded from R -A, RESIDENTIAL- AGRICULTURAL ZONE,
and incorporated in C -1, NEIGHBORHOOD- COMMERCIAL ZONE, subject
to certain conditions therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, Condition No. 7 of said Resolution No. 62R -888
reads as follows:
"7. That the display material shall be limited
to one unlighted sign for each building,
the size of which shall not exceed eight
square feet."
AND WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on December 18,
1962, upon application from the owner of one of the parcels of
property described in said resolution, permission was granted
to erect a sign on said property in conflict with Condition No.
7 of Resolution No. 62R -888; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did on June 25, 1963 hold a
public hearing in the City Council Chambers in the City Hall of
the City of Anaheim to reconsider Condition No. 7 of Resolution
No. 62R -888, notices of which public hearing were duly given;
and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of the evidence and
reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find that
Condition No. 7 should be deleted from Resolution No. 62R -888;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that an
ordinance reclassifying said property and completing said pro-
ceedings has never been adopted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 62R -888 in Reclassifica-
tion Proceedings be, and the same is hereby amended by deleting
therefrom Condition No. 7, which reads as follows:
"7. That the display material shall be limited
to one unlighted sign for each building, the
size of which shall not exceed eight square
feet."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects said
Resolution No. 62R -888 be and remain in full force and effect.
