A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of DOUBLE THREE ASSOCIATES,
a Partnership, composed of George Q. Neslen, Frank A. Rogers,
Hulett J. Brecht, Marcel La Font, Woodrow W. Meier, and Eleanor
K. Neslen, wife of George Q. Neslen, Frances B. Rogers, wife of
Frank A. Rogers, Thelma Ferree, wife of Arthur C. Ferree, June
Brecht, wife of Hulett J. Brecht, Velma L. La Font, wife of Marcel
La Font, and Charlotte J. Meier, wife of Woodrow W. Meier, to
sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for an easement for public utility purposes,
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for public utility purposes over, under and
across that parcel of land described as follows:
The Northerly five (5) feet and the Westerly five (5)
feet of the Southerly 266 feet of the East one half of the
Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 7,
Township L South, Range 10 West, as said Section is shown
on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Southerly 40 feet thereof lying
within that certain State Highway commonly known as
Lincoln Avenue.
The Southerly two feet of the Northerly five feet and
the Easterly two feet of the Westerly five feet above
described will be used for electric power line and overhang
purposes.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
