A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL, PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOS
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore enter
into an escrow with MELVIN W. HUNT and RUTH S. HUNT, husband
and wife, at United, California Bank, Anaheim Office, for the
purchase of the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, said United California Bank is now ready
to close said escrow, and a deed has been prepared conveying
said property to the City of Anaheim free and clear of all
encumbrances except all general and special taxes for the
fiscal year 1963 -6t, and all covenants, conditions, restrict-
ions, reservations, rights, rights of way and easements of record
as approved by the City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the deed conveying the following
described property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:
The Southeasterly 150.00 feet of the west 110.00 feet
of that portion of Lot 18 of Anaheim Extension, as
per map of Survey made by`William Hamel and filed in
the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California, a copy of which is shown in Book 3 Page 163
et seq., entitled "Los Angeles County Maps," in the
office of the County Recorder of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north line of said Lot 18,
distant 20.00 feet northeast of the Northwest corner
of said Lot; thence southeasterly 385.86 feet parallel
with and distant 20.00 feet easterly from the westerly
line of said Lot; thence northeasterly 508.00 feet par-
allel with the northerly line of said lot; thence
northwesterly 385.86 feet parallel with the westerly
line of said lot to the north line thereof; thence
southwesterly 508.00 feet to the point of beginning.
to the City of Anaheim, free and clear of all encumbrances,
except as hereinabove set forth be, and the same is hereby,
accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said escrow holder be, and
it is hereby, authorized to deliver to said Vendors the amount
of the purchase price of said property, heretofore deposited
in escrow, when all conditions of said escrow have been met
and complied with.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 4th day of June 19 63

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of

4th day of June, 1963'.
