A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT AND RIGHT OF
WAY OVER THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ELECTRIC POLE LINE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is desirous of acquiring
the hereinafter described real property for an easement and
right of way for an electric pole line; and
WHEREAS, THE METROPOLITAN WATER DISTRICT OF SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA, the owner of said property, has offered to grant
to the City of Anaheim, subject to the terms, covenants and
conditions set forth in a certain Grant of Easement dated
April 25, 1963, this day tendered to the City, an easement and
right of way to construct, operate, maintain, alter, add to,
repair, replace and /or remove an electric pole line, consisting
of one pole, necessary guys and anchors, cross -arms, wires and
other fixtures and appliances, for conveying electric energy
to be used for light, heat, power, telephone and /or other pur-
poses, in, on, and over the hereinafter described property;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and best interest of the City to accept said offer
and acquire said property upon the terms and conditions set
forth in said Grant of Easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of THE METROPOLITAN
WATER DISTRICT OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, a Public Corporation
of the State of California, to grant to the City of Anaheim
an easement and right of way to construct, operate, maintain,
alter, add to, repair, replace and /or remove an electric pole
line, consisting of one pole, necessary guys and anchors,
cross -arms, wires and other fixtures and appliances, for con-
veying electric energy to be used for light, heat, power,
telephone and /or other purposes, in, on and over the following
described property:
The easterly 5 feet of Lots 10 and 11, and
the westerly 5 feet of Lot 16 of Tract No.
4644, situate in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, as described
in deed to said District dated September 28,
1962, recorded October 25, 1962, in Book 6297,
Page 250 of Official Records in the Office of
the County Recorder of Orange County, California,
subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Grant of
Easement dated April 25, 1963, this day tendered to the City
Council, be and the same is hereby accepted, and that the City
accept said Grant of Easement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
