A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HUMBLE OIL REFINING
COMPANY, a Delaware corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across those portions of Lot 45 of Anaheim
Extension, as shown on a Map made by William Hamel
and filed for Record in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Northerly line
of North Street, 41.25 feet as measured at right
angles from the center line of North Street with
the Westerly line of East Street, 33.00 feet as
measured at right angles from the center line of
said East Street, as said land is shown on the
Record of Survey Map recorded in Book 17, page 47
of Record of Surveys, filed in the office of the
County Recorder of Orange County, California; thence
along the North line of said North Street South
74 degrees 50' 20" West 26.89 feet to a point in a
line tangent to the beginning of a curve concave
Northwesterly and having a radius of 15.00 feet;
thence Easterly and Northerly along said curve
through a central angle of 89 degrees 56' 45"
an arc distance of 23.55 feet to the end of said
curve being in a line tangent to the end of said
curve and distant 45.00 feet (as measured at
right angles from the center line of said East
Street); thence Northerly along the last mentioned

parallel line a distance of 53.47 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Southwesterly
and having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Northerly
and Westerly along said curve through a central
angle of 74 degrees 57' 30" an arc distance of
32.71 feet to the end of said curve being in a line
tangent to said curve and distant 53.00 feet
Southerly (as measured at right angles from the
center line of La Palma Avenue) (for the purpose
of this description the center line of said
La Palma Avenue is assumed to be the North line of
said Lot 45); thence Westerly along a line
parallel with and distant 53.00 feet Southerly of
the said center line of La Palma Avenue a distance
of 134.08 feet; thence North 15 degrees 06' 25"
West 54.5 feet to the center line of said La Palma
Avenue; thence Easterly along the center line
of said La Palma Avenue a distance of 165.72 feet
to an intersection with the West line of said
East Street 33.00 feet as measured at right
angles from the center line; thence Southerly along
the West line of said East Street, a distance of
139.31 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed

the City Council of the City of Anaheim, held on the 21st day of
May, 1963, by the following vote of the members thereof:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMAN: Coons
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor Pro Tem of the City
of Anaheim approved and signed said Resolution No. 63R -441 on the
21st day of May, 1963.
