63-0870A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT
OF THE GENERAL_PLAN, SAID CIRCULATION ELEMENT
HAVING BEEN PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED BY SAID CITY
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, heretofore, on June 28, 1960, the City Council
did adopt a Circulation Element of the General Plan, pursuant to
Resolution Number 6111, consisting of maps entitled "Arterial
Streets and Highways" and "Highway Right of Way," and certain
other exhibits; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
did on July 15, 1963, amend said Circulation Element of the
General Plan and recommended the adoption of said amendment by
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held public hearings on said
amendment as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council carefully considered all
testimony presented at said hearings concerning the necessity for
said amendment to said Circulation Element; and
WHEREAS, after such careful consideration the City
Council finds and determines that said amendment is necessary for
the proper circulation of traffic within the Pity and is in the
interest and general welfare of said City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the heretofore
adopted Circulation Element of the General Plan, consisting of
maps entitled "Arterial Streets and Highways" and "Highway Right
of Way," be and the same is hereby amended.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of November, 1963.
