A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HELENE J. TRAPP. a widow.
and THE BANK OF AMERICA NATIONAL TRUST AND SAVINGS ASSOCIATION,
as Trustee,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across the Easterly 45.00 feet (as measured at right angles from
the center line of Rio Vista Street) of that portion of the South-
east quarter of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of
Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51,
page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia, described as follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of Lincoln Avenue (formerly
Anaheim -Olive Road) and Rio Vista Street as per map filed in Book 17,
page 30 of Record of Surveys in the office of said County Recorder;
thence along the center line of said Lincoln Avenue, Northwesterly
195.00 feet; thence parallel with said Rio Vista Street Northerly
210.00 feet; thence parallel with said Lincoln Avenue Southeasterly
195.00 feet to said center line of Rio Vista Street; thence
Southerly 210.00 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following described land:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Rio Vista
Street and Lincoln Avenue as shown on a Map of Tract No. 3824,
recorded in Book 146, pages 4 and 5 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California; thence along the center line of Rio
Vista Street North 01 03' 49" East 113.02 feet; thence
North 88 56' 11" West 40.00 feet; thence South 50 39' 41" West
62.01 feet to a line parallel with and distant 55 feet Northerly
measured at right angles from said center line of Lincoln Avenue;
thence South 01 03' 49" West 56 feet to the center, line of said
Anaheim -Olive Road (now known as Lincoln Avenue); thence
South 78 01' 24" East to the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED th.t the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 001.00).
