63-0830WHEREAS, an agreement was heretofore made and
entered into by and between the City of Anaheim and the
Los Angeles Salt Lake Railroad Company, and its Lessee,
Union Pacific Railroad Company, on November 2?.!, 1953,
covering the granting to the City of Anaheim of a license
and permit to lay, construct, use, operate, maintain, re-
pair and renew a 2-inch concrete pipe line for the
purpose of conveying storm .raters, and a !•f x bf concrete
inlet structure, along the property and right -of -way of
said Railroad Company _rust north of North ;street, Anaheim,
California (Mile Post 19.5- Anaheir, 2rancs and
WHEREAS, said agreement w i l l expire on November 2?,
196, and it is the desire of the parties to said agreement to
extend the same for a term. of five (5) years end inc November 23,
196: upon the same terms and conditions as set forth in said
agreement and amendments and supplements thereto, if any; and
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad Com-
pany and its lessee, Union Pacific Railroad Company, have this
day subr -fitted to the City Council an extension rider, designated
C.L.D. No. 1132.2, to be made and entered into by and between
said railroad companies and the City of Anaheim extending the
term of said agreement to and including November 23, 1968, upon
the same terms and conditions as set forth in the agreement
dated November 21, 195, and any amendments and supplements
thereto, wich rider the City Council finds should be approved
and accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the extension rider, designated C.L.D.
No. 11482.2, this day submitted to the City Council to be made
and entered into by and between the City of Anaheim and the Los
Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad Company and its lessee, Union
Pacific Railroad Company, extending the term of that certain
agreement made and entered into by and between the City of
Anaheim and said railroad companies on November 2L, 1953,
to and including November 23, 1968, upon the same terms and
conditions as set forth in said agreement dated November 2L.,
1953, and any amendments and supplements thereto, be and the
same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sayer and. City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said extension
rider for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
