63-0761RESOLUTION NO. 63R -761 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT NO BIDS WERE RECEIVED AT THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE ASSEMBLY HALL FLOOR IN THE LA PALMA PARK RECREATION BUILDING, JOB NUMBER 786, IN RESPONSE TO THE ADVERTISE- MENT THEREFOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY DEPARTMENTS TO PROCEED WITH SAID IMPROVE- MENT. WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the 13th day of August, 1963, the City Council of the City of Anaheim adopted Resolution No. 63R -665 finding and determining that public convenience and necessity required the construction and completion of a public improvement, to wit, the Improvement of the Assembly Hall Floor in the La Palma Park Recreation Building at 1155 North Los Angeles Street, in the City of Anaheim, Job No. 786; and WHEREAS, the City Council did authorize and direct the City Clerk to publish a notice according to law inviting sealed proposals for the furnishing of all plant, labor, services, materials and equipment, and all utilities and transportation, including power, fuel and water, and performing all work neces- sary to construct and complete said public improvement, and did fix the 5th day of September, hofor hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. as the date an du WHEREAS, no bids were received by the City of Anaheim at the Office of the City Clerk up until the hour of 2:00 oclock P.M. on the 5th day of September, 1963, in response to the notice published by the City Clerk on August 22nd and 29th, 1963; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that no further notice should be published inviting sealed proposals for said job, but that the appropriate City Departments should be authorized to procure the necessary material and proceed with the installation of said floor in accordance with a letter dated September 24, 1963, directed to the Cif ty is Council attachednhereto andJames made Ma a ddox, City Engineer, a copy o part hereof. The appropriate City Departments be and they are hereby authorized to procure the necessary material and proceed with the installation of said floor in accord- ance with a letter dated September 24, 1963, directed to The Honorable City Council by James P.
