A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ARTHUR HERBERT SHIPKEY
and BETTY ANN SHIPKEY, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following describedreal
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
Public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that parcel of land being a portion of Lot 4 of
Anaheim Extension as surveyed by William Hamel and filed in
the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, a
copy of which is recorded in Book 3, page 163, et seq., of
Los Angeles County maps in the office of the County Recorder
of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 4, being the
center line intersection of Sycamore Street, 49.5 feet
wide with the East line of East Street, 66 feet wide;
thence Southerly along the East line of said East Street a
distance of 46.91 feet to a point, said point being the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly and
having a radius of 15. feet; thence Northerly and Easterly
along said curve through a central angle of 89 53' 40" an
arc distance of 23.53 feet to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 32.00 feet Southerly (as measured at
right angles) from the center line of said Sycamore Street;
thence Easterly along the last mentioned parallel line, a
distance of 125.10 feet; thence Northerly to the center line
of said Sycamore Street; thence Westerly along the center
line of said Sycamore street to the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 17th day of September 19 63
