A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A PERMIT,
GRANTED BY TI-#E ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CON-
TROL DISTRICT TO THE CITY, TO CONSTRUCT
AND MAINTAIN A STORM DRAIN INLET IN SAID
DISTRICT'S BOX CULVERT IN THE CARBON
CREEK CHANNEL AT HARBOR BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore made appli-
cation to the Orange County Flood Control District for a permit
to construct and maintain a storm drain inlet in said District's
reinforced box culvert in the Carbon Creek Channel at Harbor
Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, plans for the construction of said storm drain
inlet, designated "Harbor Boulevard Storm Drain Improvement Plan
#5865 through 5867, have been filed with and approved by said
District's Flood Control Engineer; and
WHEREAS, Orange County Flood Control District did sub-
mit to the City of Anaheim a form of permit, numbered 15263, to
be accepted by the City offering to grant to the City permission
to construct and maintain a storm drain inlet in said District's
reinforced box culvert of the Carbon Creek Channel at Harbor
Boulevard in accor -dance with City of Anaheim's "Harbor Boulevard
Storm Drain Improvement Plan 5865 through 5867," and subject to
the terms, covenants, conditions, and agreements therein set
forth to be kept, performed and observed by the City, which
permit the City Council finds would be for the benefit and best
interest of the City and should be accepted.
NOW, 1HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the permit of the Orange County Flood
Control District, numbered 152.63, submitted to the City of
Anaheim, granting to the City permission to construct and main-
tain a storm drain inlet in said District's reinforced box culvert
of the Carbon Creek Channel at Harbor Boulevard in accordance
with City of Anaheim's "Harbor Boulevard Storm Drain Improve-
ment Plan #5865 through 5867," and subject to the terms, cove-
nants, conditions, and agreements set forth in said permit to
be performed and observed by the City of Anaheim, be, and the
same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to accept said Permit
No. 15263 for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 10th day of September ,..r. 1963.
