63-0744WHEREAS, Section 10.2 of the Collier -Unruh Local Trans-
portation Development Act provides that "No apportionment shall
be made to any City or County pursuant to this Section unless it
has adopted a Resolution stating that it approves the imposition
of the additional highway users taxes and fees. .and that it
desires such apportionments to be made to it and has transmitted
a copy of such Resolution to the Department."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim hereby adopts a resolution approving the im-
position of additional highway users taxes and fees pursuant to
the Collier -Unruh Local Transportation Development Act.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Anaheim de-
sires apportionments to be made to it in accordance with the
provisions of said Act, and is aware of the necessity of conform-
ing to matching requirements prescribed by Section 14 of said Act.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all monies received by the
City from the State under the provisions of Section 10.2 of said
Act shall be paid into the Special Gas Tax Street Improvement
Fund and expended exclusively for acquisition of rights of way
and construction of routes on the select system of city streets
established as provided in Section 12 of said Act.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in compliance with said
Act, the City Clerk is directed to send a properly certified
copy of this resolution to the Department of Public Works at
Sacramento, Cal ifornia.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 10th day of September, 1963.
