A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
_ubl is utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS. a
California corporation successor by merger to DISNEYLAND. INC..
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the Northwest
quarter of Section 22, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on
a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the West line of said
Section 22 (said West line being the center line of
West Street) and a line parallel with and 10.00 feet
South of tleSouth line of the North half of the North-
west quarter of said Section 22 (as measured at right
angles to said South line); thence North 89° 531 52"
East along said parallel line 660.60 feet to the be-
ginning of a tangent curve concave Westerly having a
radius of 21.00 feet; thence Easterly, Northerly and
Westerly along said curve through a central angle of
180 00 00" an arc distance of 65.97 feet to a point
of intersection with the Easterly line of that parcel
of land conveyed to Clyde Buckley Schlund and Joan
Marie Schlund, husband and wife, by deed recorded
July 8, 1952, Document No. 34236 in Official Records
of Orange County, California, a radial line passing
through said point bearing North 0 061 08" West; said
point also being 32.00 feet North of the South line of
the North half of the Northwest quarter of said Section
22; thence South 0 15' 03" East along the East line
of the above mentioned parcel of land conveyed to
Clyde Buckley Schlund and wife, a distance of 32.00
feet to the intersection with said South line; thence
South 89 53' 52" West along said South line, a
distance of 660.71 feet to the intersection with the
center line of West Street; thence South 0 14' 52"
East along said center line a distance of 10.00 feet
to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Westerly 40.00 feet lying
within the right of way of West Street.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a
conveyance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to
the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 10th day of September 1963
