A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR, AND
DIRECTING THE ACQUISITION, BY EMINENT DOMAIN,
OF REAL PROPERTY FOR SEWER AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
A right of way for a sanitary sewer and for public
utility purposes, under, over and across a strip of
land 25.00 feet in width, lying 7.50 feet northerly
of and 17.50 feet southerly of the following described

The South line of said right of way to be lengthened or
shortened to coincide with the East and West lines of the
abate mentioned deed.

WHEREAS, public convenience and necessity require the
acquisition of certain real property within the City of Anaheim
for the following purposes, to wit: right of way for sewer and
public utility purposes and for the installation and the con-
tinuing maintenance thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
public interest and necessity require the acquisition of all that
certain real property herein described, by the City of Anaheim in
fee as right of way for sewer and public utility purposes and for
the installation and the continuing maintenance thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that public interest and necessity require
the acquisition of that certain real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, more particu-
larly described as follows, to wit:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot Eight (8) of
Mrs. Bush's Subdivision of a portion of Bush Tract, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 36, page 52 of Mis-
cellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California;
thence North 0 10' West along the Westerly line of said
Lot Eight (8) and the Northerly prolongation thereof, a
distance of 1932.63 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
thence North 80 41' 11" West 1.27 feet; thence North 8o
28' 06" West 85.50 feet; thence North 86° 501 00" West
216.63 feet; thence South 87 08' 00" West 151.41 feet;
thence South 87 55' 43" West 0.82 feet to the inter-
section with the Westerly line of that parcel of land
described by deed recorded August 15, 1960 in Book 5374
Page 333 of Official Records of Orange County, California.
The North line of said right of way being the South toe of
the dike of the Santa Ana River.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does here-
by find and determine that public interest and necessity require
the acquisition of said land by the City of Anaheim for the
aforesaid purposes, and that the taking of the property here-
inabove described is necessary therefor, and that the uses to
which it is to be put are uses authorized by law, and the taking
of said property is necessary to such uses.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does
hereby authorize the acquisition of said property by the City
of Anaheim, and the City Attorney of the City of Anaheim is
hereby directed to institute an action in eminent domain for
the acquisition of the title to said property, and to perform
and carry out all of the necessary proceedings and steps incident
to the acquisition of the title to said property and to obtaining
immediate possession thereof.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 10th day of September 1963.

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim approved and
