A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A RANT DEED
C ONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of inn E. Thomsen and

to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and

and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 17 of the Anaheim
Homestead Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 26,
page 10 of Miscellaneous Records in the office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of
North Street and West Street, as shown on said Map; thence
South 85 19' 00" West 180.00 feet along said center line
of North Street to the Northerly prolongation of the
Easterly line of the land described in the deed to Herbert
E. Blackwell et ux, recorded July 16, 1952 in Book 2357,
page 93 of Official Records; thence Southerly along said
prolongation to the Southerly line of said North Street;
thence North 89 19' 00" East 3.06 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence South 86 34' 10" East 143.50 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly and
having a radius of 15 feet; thence Easterly and Southerly
along said curve through a central angle of 71 48' 40" an
arc distance of 18.80 feet` to a point on the West line' of
West Street; thence North 14° 45' 30" West 32.99 feet;
thence South 85° 19' 00" West, a distance of 14.8.94 feet
to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 20th d of August 19 63
