RESOLUTION 63R -163
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO ZONE THE PERALTA HILLS AREA, IN THE
EVENT OF ITS ANNEXATION, IN A MANNER
WHICH WILL PRESERVE ITS PRESENT HOMOGE-
NIZED INTEGRITY.
WHEREAS, the Peralta Hills area, adjacent to the City
of Anaheim and included in the pending Yorba Linda Annexation,
is a homogeneous and contiguous unit; and
WHEREAS, said area has maintained an integrity of
density in its use in its present "Estates" District Zoning;
and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of
the City of Anaheim to maintain and preserve the homogenized
integrity of said Peralta Hills area in the event of its
annexation to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it is the expressed intention of
said Council to zone the Peralta Hills area, in the event it
is annexed to the City of Anaheim, in a manner which will
preserve its present homogenized integrity in a zone compara-
ble to and compatible with the present Estates T9 District
Zoning now enjoyed by said area.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Planning Depart-
ment be, and it is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare
and take the necessary steps toward the adoption of an "R -E,
RESIDENTIAL ESTATE ZONE," comparable to and compatible with
the "El Estates" District regulations of Orange County.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 26th day of February, 1963.
