A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of W. D. NEWMAN, a married
man, M. M. BITKER, a married man, R. VANE, a married man, an
undivided one -third interest each, and FRAN S. BITKER, JEAN A.
VANE and CATHERINE S. NEWMAN, to sell to the City of Anaheim
the following described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used
for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and more
particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across those parcels of land described as
follows:
PARCEL ONE:
The Southerly 53.00 feet (as measured at right angles
to the center line of Ball Road) and the Westerly
45.00 feet (as measured at right angles to the center
line of Western Avenue) of the Westerly 135.00 feet
of the Southerly 190.00 feet of the West half of the
Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section
13, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho
Los Coyotes, as said Section is shown on a Map recorded
in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California.
PARCEL TWO:
Beginning at a point 53 feet Northerly and 70.07 feet
Easterly of the Southwest corner of the West half of
the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of
said Section 13, said Southeast corner being the
center line intersection of Ball Road (30 feet wide)
with the center line of Western Avenue (20 feet wide)
said point of beginning also being the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius
of 25 feet; thence Westerly and Northerly along said
curve through a central angle of 90 10' 15" an arc
distance of 39.34 feet to the intersection with a line

45.00 feet Easterly as measured at right angles
from the West line of the West half of the Southwest
quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 13;
thence Southerly to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
