A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF PRO-
CEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF INHABITED TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
WHEREAS, Clark W. Wi Jr., Mrs. Ree K. Henning,
Richard M. Henninp Helene J. Trapp Earl H. Dahlman Jo Anni
tra�.lmanVersa M. Wingert, Raymond P Dinkier, Gera dine Dinkier
Charlotte M. Wingert Reinhold Dinkier and Jennie L. Dinkier
have filed with the City Council a written request, requesting the
consent of the City Council of the City of Anaheim to the commence-
ment of proceedings for the annexation of the hereinafter described
territory to the City of Anaheim, and stating that said territory is
inhabited territory and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that it
would be to the advantage and benefit of the City of Anaheim and to
the qualified electors residing within said territory to permit the
above named proponents to commence proceedings for the annexation of
said territory to the City of Anaheim, upon the conditions herein-
after set forth; and
WHEREAS, said request has been referred to the City Plan-
ning Commission and its report and recommendations received recom-
mending the granting of consent to commence proceedings for annexa-
tion of said territory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the consent of the City Council be and it is
hereby given to said proponents to commence proceedings for the
annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the City of
Anaheim upon the following conditions:
First: That the proposal for annexation of said territory
to the City :?Anaheim shall be submitted to and reported upon to
the proponents by the Boundary Commission of the County of Orange,
with respect to the definiteness and certainty of proposed boundaries.
Second: That no petition be circulated for the annexation
of said territory until after notice of intention to circulate such
petition has been published as required by law, and a copy of such
notice and an affidavit of publication has been filed with the City
Clerk of the City of Anaheim within ten (10) days after the date of
publication of said notice, and a resolution has been adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim acknowledging receipt of said
notice and approving the circulation of said petition,
Third: That the circulation of any petition for the
annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim shall not be
commenced until twenty-one (21) days after the publication of said
notice of intention to circulate the same.
The boundaries of the territory for which proceedings are
proposed to be commenced for the annexation thereof to the City of
Anaheim are described as follows:

RIVERVIEW ANNEXATION
That parcel of land located in the County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing Anaheim City Limit Line, said point being
the Southeast corner of the North Sunkist Annexation to the City of Anaheim, passed
by Ordinance No. 1002, July 26, 1955 and filed with the Secretary of State September 2,
1955 and recorded for record September 12, 1955 in the office of the County Recorder
of Official Records of Orange County, California. The Southeast corner of the said
North Sunkist Annexation being the intersection of the Northerly right of way line
of Anaheim -Olive Road (now known as Lincoln Avenue) 60 feet wide, with the Easterly
right of way line of Sunkist Street (40 feet wide) as said street widths existed at
the time of the said North Sunkist Annexation; thence
1. North 0° 10' East 1,161 feet, more or less, along the said existing City of
Anaheim City Limit Line to an intersection with the South line of the North
half of the South half of the Northeast quarter of Section 12, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, said point of intersection being
in the existing City of Anaheim City Limit Line as established by the Sunkist
Rio Vista Annexation to the City of Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No. 1405,
October 13, 1959 and filed with the Secretary of State November 13, 1959 and
recorded for record November 19, 1959 in the office of the County Recorder of
Official Records of Orange County, California; thence
2. North 89 52' East 2,637 feet, more or less, along the said existing City of
Anaheim City Limit Line being the South line of the North half of the South
half of the Northeast quarter of said Section 12, to an intersection with a
line parallel with and 30.00 feet West of the East line of the Northeast quarter
of said Section 12; thence.
3. North 0° 10' East 660 feet, more or less, along the existing City of Anaheim
City Limit Line being the last mentioned parallel line to an intersection
with the South line of the North half of the Northeast quarter of said Section
12; thence:
4. South 89 52' West 403 feet, more or less, along the existing City of Anaheim
City Limit Line being the South line of the North half of the Northeast quarter
of said Section 12, to an intersection with the East line of the South 14 acres
of the West 27 acres of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of said

Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 12; thence'
6. South 89 52' West 890 feet, more or less, along the existing City of Anaheim
City Limit line being the North line of the South 14 acres of the West 27 acres

City Limit Line being the East line of the West half of the Northeast quarter of
said Section 12, to an intersection with the North line of the Southerly 330 feet

Limit Line being the North line of the Southerly 330 feet of the North half of

West, San Bernardino Base Meridian, said point of intersection being in the
existing City of Anaheim City Limit Line as established by the Northeast Annex-

14. North 89 52' East 575 feet, more or less, along the existing City of Anaheim
City Limit Line being the last mentioned parallel line to an intersection with
the East line of Lot 8 of the South Placentia Tract No. 1, as shown on a map
thereof filed in Book 5, page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,

15. North 0° 28' West 1,248 feet, more or less, along the existing City of Anaheim
City Limit Line being the Easterly line of Lot 8 of said South Placentia Tract
No, 1 to an intersection with the Southwesterly right of way line of California
State Highway Route O.R.A. 175 -B (142' wide); thence

Limit Line, leaving the said Southwesterly right of way line, to the point of
