63-0115A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE- MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municip purposes, to wit: An e= .sement for road and public utility purposes and RESOLUTION NO. 63R -115 WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of EVERT S. PETERSON and MIA LOUISE PETERSON, husband and wife, and ROBERT C. AURAND and RITA J. AURAND, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for =Land public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across the Northerly 32.00 feet (as measured at right angles to the center line of South Street) of that portion of Dreyfus and others lands, as shown on a Map of Survey made by William Hamel and filed for record in Los Angeles County, California, a copy of which is filed in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, in Book 3, pages 163 et seq., entitled Los Angeles County Records, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the Southerly prolongation of center line of Orange Street, as shown on said Map of Survey of William Hamel, with the South line of the 'Original Anaheim" as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California; thence South 74 30' West along said South line to a line distant thereon 210.00 feet from and parallel with the West line of the Atcheson, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company's 50 foot strip of land as described in deed to the California Central Railway Company recorded March 26, 1888 in Book 407, page 135 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California; thence Southerly along said parallel line, to a line distant thereon 660.00 feet from and parallel with said South line of the "Original Anaheim thence Easterly along said last men- tioned parallel line to the said prolongation of the center line of Orange Street; thence Northerly along said prolonga- tion to the point of beginning. EXCEPT THEREFROM any portion included within the said Atcheson, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company's land. -1- be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
