A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR OVERHEAD ELECTRIC POWER LINES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for overhPaci
electric power lines
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of TEACHERS INSURANCE AND
ANNUITY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA. a New York Corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for overhead
electric power lines
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for overhead electric power lines over and
across the Easterly 5.00 feet of the following described
parcel of land:
That portion of the East half of the Southwest quarter
of Section 3, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.& M.,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the South half of
the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 3; thence Easterly along the Northerly line of
the South half of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest
quarter of said Section 3 to a point in the Northerly
extension of the Westerly line of the land described as
Parcel Two in the deed to the U. S. Industrial Alcohol
Co., recorded November 15, 1926 in Book 689, Page 83 of
Deeds; thence South 0 02' 15" East along said extended
line and along the Westerly line of Parcels One and Two
as conveyed to said U. S. Industrial Alcohol Co., by
deed above mentioned, to a point North 0 02' 15" West
1022.00 feet from the Southerly line of said Section 3,
said point being the true point of beginning of this
description; thence continuing South 0° 02' 15" East
115.00 feet to the Northeast corner of that parcel of
land conveyed to Merrifield Trucking Company, as shown
on a Map filed in Book 16, Page 39 of Record of Surveys
in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
California; thence along the Northerly line of said
parcel, and parallel to the Southerly line of said
Section 3, 603.99 feet, more or less, to the Westerly
line of the East half of the Southwest quarter of Section
3 and the center line of North Lemon Street, 60.00 feet

in width; thence along the Westerly line of the East
half of the Southwest quarter of said Section 3 and
the center line of North Lemon Street, North 0 01'
05" East 115.00 feet; thence East 603.87 feet, more
or less, to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a
conveyance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 5th day of February 19 63
