RESOLUTION NO. 63R- 79
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A PERMIT SUBMITTED BY THE
ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT TO THE
CITY TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN A STORM DRAIN
INLET IN SAID DISTRICT'S BOX CULVERT IN THE
ANAHEIM- BARBER CITY CHANNEL AT KATELLA AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore made
application to the Orange County Flood Control District for a
permit to construct and maintain a storm drain inlet in said
District's box culvert in the Anaheim- Barber City Channel at
Katella Avenue; and
WHEREAS plans for the installation of said storm drain
inlet designated Avenue Storm Drain Improvement Plan
#5484 through 5489" have been filed with and approved by said
District's Flood Control Engineer; and
WHEREAS, Orange County Flood Control District did
submit to the City of Anaheim a form of permit to be accepted
by the City offering to grant to the City permission to
construct and maintain a storm drain inlet in said District's
box culvert in the Anaheim- Barber City Channel at Katella
Avenue in accordance with City of Anaheim's Katella Avenue
Storm Drain Improvement Plan #5484 through 5489, subject to the
terms, covenants, conditions, and agreements therein set forth
to be kept, performed and observed by the City, which permit
the City Council finds would be for the benefit and best interest
of the City and should be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the permit of the Orange County Flood
Control District, No. 20462, submitted to the City of Anaheim
granting to the City permission to construct and maintain a
storm drain inlet in said District's box culvert in the Anaheim
Barber City Channel at Katella Avenue in accordance with City
of Anaheim's Katella Avenue Storm Drain Improvement Plan #5484
through 5489, subject to the terms, covenants, conditions, and
agreements set forth in said permit to be performed and observed
by the City of Anaheim, be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to accept said permit
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 29th day of January, 1963.
