A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit. An easement for road and •ublic utilit •ur.os

WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered to sell
and convey the same to the Ci y; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of J. F. SNYDER and EUGENIA MAY SNYDER
husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Westerly 53.00 feet (as measured
at right angles to the center line of Cypress Avenue)
(now known as State College Boulevard) of that portion
of Lot 4 of the South Placentia Tract No. 2, as shown
on a map recorded in Book 5, page 42 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at a point 478.25 feet North of the Southwest
corner of said Lot 4 and running thence Northerly along
the West line of said Lot, 120 feet; thence Easterly
parallel with the North line of said Lot to a point
which is distant 215 feet Easterly, measured along said
parallel line or the extension thereof, from the center
line of Cypress Avenue; thence Southerly parallel with
the West line of said Lot 4, 120 feet; thence Westerly
along a line parallel to the Northerly line of said
Lot 4 to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
