63-0019WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit, on
October 16, 1962, adopt Resolution No. 62R -941 granting Variance
No. 1522 permitting the establishment and operation of a real
estate office in an existing single family residence situated on
the property hereinafter described, for a period of six months
from October 16, 1962, the date of the adoption of said resolu-
tion, subject to certain conditions set forth in said resolution.
Said property is situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, and is more particularly described
as follows:
The Southerly 62 feet of the Northerly 124 feet
of the Westerly 170 feet of the South half of
the North half of the Northwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter of Section 12, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan
Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California;
AND WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the time limit
of said variance should be extended to correspond with the time
of completion of reclassification proceedings now pending for the
reclassification of said property; that is, a period of 5 years
from date of the adoption of said resolution, and that said
extension of time should be granted subject to the dedication
and improvement immediately of a 20 -foot radius corner return at
the northeast corner of Sycamore Street and State College
Boulevard.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 62R -941, adopted October
16, 1962, granting Variance No. 1522, be, and the same is hereby
amended by extending the term of said variance to a period of
5 years from October 16, 1962, subject to the dedication and im-
provement immediately by the owner of subject property of a 20-
foot radius corner return at the northeast corner of Sycamore
Street and State College Boulevard, said corner return to be
improved in accordance with standard plans and specifications on
file in the Office of the City Engineer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects said
Resolution No. 62R -941 be and remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
