A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municip -1 purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of JOHN A. EAKIN and BESSIE
L. EAKIN, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the West one half of
the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Sec-
tion 28, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.&M.,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point 20 feet south of, and 30 feet east
of the west quarter corner of said Section 28; thence
south, parallel to the west line of said section, 50
feet; thence N. 89 13' 50" E., 23 feet to the beginning
of a non tangent curve, concave southeasterly and having
a radius of 25 feet, a radial line to said curve bearing
S. 89 13' 50" W.; thence northeasterly along said curve,
through a central angle of 89 50' 00 an arc distance
of 39.19 feet to a point; thence north, parallel to said
west line of Section 28, 13 feet to a point; thence N.
75 44' 05" E., 51.42 feet to a point on a line parallel
with, and distant south 20 feet from the north line of
said Southwest quarter of Section 28; thence west, along
said last mentioned parallel line, 98 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 2nd d of January 1963
