1962-1100NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that said record of canvass of returns of said
election be, and the same is hereby ordered entered upon the
minutes of said City Council, and that no further proceedings be
taken in said annexation.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this
18th day of December, 1962.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has can-
vassed the returns of a certain special annexation election held
on the llth day of December, 1962, in certain unincorporated terri-
tory sought to be annexed to said City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said City Council has caused a record to be made
of the canvass of returns of said election, which record is en-
titled, "RECORD OF CANVASS OF RETURNS OF SPECIAL ANNEXATION ELEC-
TION HELD DECEMBER 11, 1962 and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the total number of
votes cast in said election in favor of annexation was 485 and
that the total number of votes cast against said annexation was
708
