A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of RICHARD E. OSTROOT and
MABLE OSTROOT, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
.public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement over the real property in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across that portion of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 17, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map re-
corded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Southwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 17,
said Southwest corner being the center line intersection of Nutwood
Street with the center line of Ball Road, as said intersection is
shown on a Map of Tract No. 3149, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 120, pages 12 and 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California; thence North 0 00' 05" West 282 feet, more or
less, along the center line of said Nutwood Street to an intersec-
tion with the Southerly line of the North 380 feet of the South-
west quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of
said Section 17; thence North 89 39' 56" East along the Southerly
line of the North 380 feet of the Southwest quarter of the South-
west quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 17 to an
intersection with a line parallel with and 32.00 feet Easterly of
the said center line of Nutwood Street; thence South 0 00' 05"
East 213.76 feet along the last mentioned parallel line to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a
radius of 15.00 feet; thence Southerly and Easterly along said
tangent curve through a central angle of 90 18' 50" an arc dis-
ta c of 23.64 feet to the intersection with a line parallel with
and .53.00 feet Northerly (as measured at right angles from the
center line of said Ball Road); thence Easterly tangent to the
last mentioned curve, along the said last mentioned parallel line

to an intersection with the West line of Tract No. 3266, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 101, pages 14 and 15 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence
Southerly along the West line of said Tract No. 3266 and the
Southerly prolongation thereof to the center line of said Ball
Road; thence Westerly along the center line of said Ball Road
to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
