A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of the ANAHEIM ROYAL INC.,
a corporation organized under the laws of the State of
California, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following des-
cribed real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road
and public utility purposes, and more particularly described as
follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Westerly 23.00 feet of those
portions of Lots 4 and 5 of the South Placentia
Tract No. 2, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5,
page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, described as follows, and a
public utility easement over, under and across the
Southerly 8 feet of all that land described below.
The Northerly 3 feet of said 8 feet will be used
for public utility overhang purposes only.
Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly line of
Cypress Street (60 feet wide) shown as an unnamed
street on the map of said tract with the Northerly
line of that 7.38 acre tract of land described in
deed recorded April 5, 1912 in Book 201, page 194 of
Deeds of Orange County, California; thence continuing
along said Northerly line South 89 50' 15" East 872.28
feet to the Southwesterly corner of land described in
Parcel 2 -B of deed to the State of California, recorded
April 24, 1959 in Book 4685, page 13 of Official
Records; thence along the Westerly lines of said land,
the following courses and distances:
North 45 46 29" East, 224.56 feet, North 38 26' 34"
East 93.05 feet and North 27 57' 59" East 124.45 feet
to the Northwesterly corner of said land; thence
North 81° 16' 14" West 45.69 feet to the Westerly
terminus of that certain line described in deed to State
of California recorded October 22, 1954 in Book 2849,
page 372 of Official Records, as having a length of
147.06 feet and a bearing of North 81 00' 28 West;
thence North 16 21' 09" East, 38.66 feet to the

Southeasterly corner of that parcel of land last
described in Parcel 2 -A of deed to State of California
recorded April 24, 1959 in Book 4685, page 13 of
Official Records; thence along the Southerly lines of
said land the following courses and distances:
North 73 33' 36" West 135.74 feet and
North 79 02' 41" West 238.49 feet to the Southerly
line of said land described in deed to the State of
California recorded October 22, 1954 in Book 2849,
page 372 of Official Records; thence along said
Southerly line South 88 39' 05" West 197.35 feet to
the Easterly corner of that Parcel of land first described
in Parcel 2 -A of said deed to State of California
recorded April 24, 1959 in Book 4685, page 13 of
Official Records; thence along the Southeasterly and
Easterly lines of said land the following courses and
distances; thence South 77 31' 29" West 225.78 feet
South 73 16' 55" West 249.87 feet, South 52 53' 29
West 75.00 feet and South 5 14' 09" West 157.37 feet
to the most Southerly corner of land described in said
deed to State of California recorded October 22, 1954
in Book 2849, page 372 of Official Records; thence along
the Southerly line of said land South 89 45' 21" West
20.00 feet to the Easterly line of aforementioned
Cypress Street; thence along said Easterly line
South 0 14' 39" East 137.50 feet to the point of
beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this llth day of December 1962.

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Resolution No. 62R -1058 on
the llth day of December, 1962.
