A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD P EsD PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to t City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of DEPT. OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE
STATE OF C »LI2OR`1A and GIL=ERT J. KLUTHE end NALlE r KLUTH
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and pu lic utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility Purposes over, under and across
the Easterly ;3 feet (es measured at right angles to the monumented
center line of Placentia l.venue) of that parcel of land located in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, ti State of California, described as
follows:
That portion of Lot 16 of Anaheim. Extension as shown on a map by
William Hamel filed in the office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, California, more particularly described as follows:
Beeinning at a point in the center line of Placentia. Avenue
0 05' 15" W. 374.99 feet from the NE corner of said Lot 16, said
corner bein, considered to be the intersection of the center line.. of
South >treet and Placentia Avenue; runnin6 thence S. 0 0 15" W.
118.95 feet alon6 said center line of Placentia Avenue; thence S.
7)4 36' 05" W. 238.23 feet along a line parallel with the said center
line of South Street to a point in the East line of that certain
parcel of land conveyed to C. L. Becker by deed recorded in Book 161,
Page 89 of deeds, records of said Orange Count;;, California; thence

conveyed to C. i Becker, to a point in G. line which bears

of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of this City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar 41
