1960-5846A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM URGING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA TO DENY APPLICATION
FOR SPECIAL USE PERMIT NO. UV Y)59.
WHEREAS, the City Council is informed that an appli-
cation for Use Variance No. 4459 tb establish a Veterinary
Hospital on the north side of Lincoln Avenue, approximately
1250 feet east of Gilbert Street, has been made by Eugene T.
Metz; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is further informed that
the Orange County Planning Commission approved said application
on February 10, 1960, and that said application is now pending
before the,Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange, State
of California; and'
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is located
adjacent to school property; that there is an R -1 Zone in the
immediate vicinity; that it is not a proper use of the area
because it is not compatible with projected uses around it; and
that a request has been filed with the City Council of the City
of Anaheim for consent to annex said area to the City of Anaheim
and that the City has consented to the initiation of said
proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Orange, State of California, be, and they are hereby,
urgently requested to consider the foregoing facts and to deny
said application for said Special Use Permit No. UV 4459 upon
said grounds.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 1st day of March, 1960.
