A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution de-
claring its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, and did fix a time and
place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner
and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code, and did duly hold and conduct such public hearing to consider
said proposed change of zone or zones, and did receive evidence and
reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by
formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions
and reasons for recommending an amendment to said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed
changes in the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and
described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the 23rd day of February 1 960 as the time and
the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the
place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or
zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon con-
sider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in
which it is now situated to a different zone or zones, as herein-
after set forth, is more suitable for the zone in which it is now
incorporated, and that a change of zone should not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows, to wit:
The Northeasterly 203 feet of the Northwesterly 120
feet of that portion of Lot 26 of Anaheim Extension,
as shown on a map of survey made by Wm. Hamel and
filed for record in the office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 26;
thence Northerly along the Easterly line of said lot,
a distance of 503.19 feet, more or less, to the
Southeasterly corner of that certain tract of land
conveyed by Rollin R. Rees, et ux., to 0. Mullinix
by deed recorded January 25, 1924, in Book 506, Page

256, Deeds, Records of said Orange County; thence
Westerly along the Southerly line of the land so
conveyed to Mullinix a distance of 612.)i9 feet,
more or less, to a point in the Westerly line of
said Lot 26, which ooint is distant 331.89 feet
northerly from the Southwesterly corner of said
Lot 26; thence Southerly along the Westerly line of
said Lot 26, a distance of 331.89 feet to the south..
corner thereof; thence Easterly along the
Southerly line of said lot, a distance of 633.6.0
feet to the point of beginning.
LANDSCAPING ZONES
remain in C -1, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL P -L, PARKING in which
it is now incorporated, and that the reclassification to 0 -3,
HEAVY- COMMERCIAL ZONE
as recommended
by the City Planning Commission in its Resolution Noe 163
SERIES 1959 -60 be denied,
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
