A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
5818 CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE
HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
TO BE HELD ON THE 12th DAY OF APRIL, 1960,
BY CHANGING THE LOCATION OF THE POLLING
PLACE FOR PRECINCT 26.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit,
on February 9, 1960, adopt Resolution No. 5818 calling and
giving notice of the holding of a regular general municipal
election to be held on the 12th day of April, 1960, pursuant
to the requirements of the laws of the State of California
relating to General Law Cities within said State; and
WHEREAS, for the purpose of holding said regular
general municipal election, the City Council did establish
seventy -seven voting precincts consisting of consolidations
of the regular election precincts in the City of Anaheim
established for the holding of state and county elections,
as said regular election precincts existed on the date of the
adoption of said Resolution No. 5818, and did designate the
polling places for the respective precincts; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that the polling
place designated for Voting Precinct 26 should be changed from
the Boy Scout House, 1006 West La Palma Avenue,to the Clifton
D. Harris Residence, 928 North West Street, Anaheim, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the polling place designated in
Resolution No. 5818 for Voting Precinct No. 26, for the
holding of said regular general municipal election on
April 12, 1960, be and it is hereby changed from the Boy
Scout House, 1006 West La Palma Avenue, to the Clifton D.
Harris Residence, 928 North West Street, Anaheim, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects
said Resolution No. 5818 be and remain in full force and
effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 16th day of February, 1960.
