1960-5759RESOLUTION N0. 5759 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAhEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PU3LIC UTILITY lURPOS'S. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell and e,onvey the same to the C ti y; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of LUCKY STORES INC a to sell to the City of Anahe m the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for f for road ..b 1't •s s and more partiou l arly described as fo ows v An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across the Easterly 32.00 feet (as measured from the centerline of Citron Street) and the Northerly 53.00 feet (as measured at right angles from the centerline of La Palma Avenue) of that parcel of land described as follows: That portion of Lot 40 of Anaheim Extension, as shown on a Map of Survey by William Hamel in December, 1868, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, a copy of which is shown in Book 3, Page 163, et seq., entitled Los Angeles County Haps, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of West La Palma Avenue with the Northerly prolongation of the Easterly line of N. Citron Street as said street and avenue are shown on a map of Anaheim Extension; thence along said centerline N. 89 39' 50" East to a line parallel with and distant Easterly 320.00 feet measured at right angles from the centerline of said N. Citron Street; thence along said parallel line South 15° 21' 00" East to a line parallel with and distant Northerly 211.5.00 feet measured at right angles from the Southerly line of the land described in the deed to Erwin H. W. Kersten et ux., recorded 6 -4 -48 in Book 1647, Page 173 of Official Records of said Orange County; thence S. �4° 41' 40 West 78.00 feet along said parallel line to a line parallel with and distant Easterly 242.00 feet measured at right angles from said centerline of N. Citron Street; thence S. 15° 21' 00" East 245.00 feet to the Southerly line of the land described in said deed to Kersten; thence along said Southerly line and prolongation thereof, South 74° 1j.1' 40" 'Yost to said Easterly line of N. Citron Street; thence N. 15° 21' 00" West to the point of beginning. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim., and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property. -1- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 41.00).
