A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of Millie Remland, a widow,
to sell to the Cdty of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for read and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point 14.0.0 feet North of the South line,
and 112.18 feet East of the West line of the West half of the
Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quart-
er of Section 13, Township 14 South, Range 11 West, San. Bernardino
Base and Meridian; thence N. 450 36' C5" West a distance of 28.22
feet to the intersection of a line parallel with and 92.00 feet
Easterly of the West line of the West half of the Southwest
quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of said
Section 13; thence Southerly alengthe last mentioned parallel line
a distance of 20.00 feet, to the intersection of a line parallel
with and 40.00 feet Northerly of the South line of the West half of
the Southwest quarter of the Souti:west uarter of the Northwest quart-
er of said Section 13, thence Easterly along the last mentioned par-
allel line to the point of beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 12th day of July 1960.
