A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 6065 IN RECLASSIFICATION PROCEEDINGS
NO. F- 59- 60- 94.
WHEREAS, the City Council did on June 7, 1960,
adopt Resolution No. 6065 in Reclassification Proceedings
No. F -59 -60 -914 finding and determining that the property
and area therein described should be changed from R -A,
RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE and R -3, MULTIPLE- FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL ZONE, to C -1, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL ZONE,
subject to certain conditions set forth in said resolution;
and
WHEREAS, Condition No. 8 of Resolution No. 6065
reads as follows:
6. That the layout, landscaping and construction
of the buildings shall be substantially in
accordance with the plans submitted to the
City Council, marked Exhibits "A "B" and
"C signed by Applicant J. B. Kerwin,
June 7, 1960, and on file with the City of
Anaheim.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the land-
scaping requirement for the south side of the property as
shown on the plan marked "Exhibit A referred to in said
Condition No. 8, should be eliminated, and that the land-
scaping on the south side of said property should extend
29 feet easterly from the west property line; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that Condi-
tion No. 8 should, therefore, be amended to require land-
scaping on the south side of subject property for a distance
of 29 feet easterly from the west property line, in accord-
ance with the amendment shown on the overlay plan marked
"Exhibit A and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that
an ordinance has never been adopted directing said change of
zone and completing said proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 6065 in Reclas-
sification Proceedings No. F -59 -60 -911 be and the same is
hereby amended by amending Condition No. 8 thereof to read
as follows:
8. That the layout, landscaping and construc-
tion of the buildings shall be substantially
in accordance with the plans submitted to
the City Council, marked "Exhibits A, B and
C signed by Applicant J. B. Kerwin, June 7,
1960, and on file with the City of Anaheim,
Exhibit "A" having been amended by eliminat-
ing the landscaping originally required on
the south side of the property, and by re-
quiring landscaping on said south side from
the west property line extending easterly
29 feet, in accordance with the amendment
shown on said Exhibit "A".

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects
said Resolution No. 6065 be and remain in full force and
effect.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney
be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare
and submit to the City Council an amendment to Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to amend said
Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish the object herein found
and determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by -me this 5th day of July, 1960.
