A RESOLUTICN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR, AND
DIRECTING THE ACQUISITION BY EMINENT DOMAIN
OF, REAL PROPERTY FOR THE PUBLIC PARKING OF
MOTOR VEHICLES.
WHEREAS, public convenience and necessity require the
constriction, completion and maintenance of a public improve-
ment within the City of Anaheim, to wit: A public parking lot
for the parking of motor vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and deterr17ne
that public interest and necessity require the acquisition of
all that certain real property herein described by the City of
Anaheim for the construction, improvement and maintenance as a
public parking lot or area for the parking of motor vehicles;
NOW, THEREFORE, BF IT RESOLVED that public interest
and necessity require the acquisition of that certain real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, more particularly described as follows,
to wit:
A parcel of land located in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, being portions of the
Anaheim. Home Tract, the Mary A. Goodman Tract, and Lot
A. of Tract No. 97, of the Sinclair Ranch, more particu-
larly described as follows:
PARCEL NO. 1.
Lots 22, 20, la and 16 of said Anaheim Home Tract as
shown on a map filed in Book 6, Page 34, of Niscelianecus
laps in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange
County.
PARCEL NO. 2.
Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 1, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20,
21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 of the said
Mary A. Goodman Tract, as shown on a map filed in Book 7,
Page 21, of Miscellaneous Naps, in the Office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County.
PARCEL NO. 3.
The Northerly 100 feet of the Easterly 41.51fcei
loesterly 166.024 feet of said Tract No. 97 as shown on
a map filed in Book 11, Page 39 of Miscellaneous Naps
in the office of the Recorder of said Orange County,
also being shown as parcels 11 and 5 in Book 324, Page
03 in the County Assessor's Map Books.
PARCEL NO. 4.
The Westerly 1211.3 feet of the Northerly 115 feet of
said Tract No. 97, as shown on tbe last mentioned map,
also being shown as parcels 6, 7 and 8, in Book 3h,
Page 03 of the County Assessor's Naps Books.

PARCEL NO.
All those parcels of land lying West of the West line
of the Westerly 20 feet of the Easterly 155.32 feet of
the South 575 feet of said Tract N. 97.
PARCEL NO. 6.
The Northerly 15 feet of the Southerly 575 feet of the
Westerly 10.74. feet of the Easterly 166.06 feet, of
said Tract No. 97.
The last mentioned parcel is shown. as parcel 38 in
said. Book 34, Page 03, of said County Assessor's reap
Books.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does
hereby find and determine that public interest and necessity
require the acquisition of said land by the City of Anaheim
for the construction, completion and maintenance of the
aforesaid project, and that the taking of the property here-
inabove described is necessary therefor, and that the use to
which it is to be applied is a use authorized by law, and the
taking of said property is necessary to such use.
NO THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED that said
property be acquired by the City of Anaheip, and the City
Attorney of the City of Anaheim is hereby directed to insti-
tute an action in eminent domain for the acquisition of the
title to said property, and to perform and carry out all of
the necessary proceedings and steps incident to the acquisi-
tion of the title to said property and to obtaining possession
thereof.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 28th day of June, 1960.
